About Livia
I am a dedicated Computer Programming tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, helping High School and College students build strong coding skills. I have successfully taught around 300 students, guiding them to improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and practical learning. I believe programming is best learned by doing, so I focus on real examples, simple explanations, and hands-on practice. I teach subjects like Java, C, SQL, Data Structures, and basic Algorithms, making sure students understand both theory and application.
I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their ideas. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match their level and pace. My goal is to make learning programming easy and enjoyable, even for beginners.
Over the years, many of my students have improved their grades, completed challenging assignments, and gained confidence in coding. I also help students prepare for exams, build small projects, and get ready for job opportunities by practising interview questions and real-world problems.
I am committed to helping each student succeed and grow. My aim is not only to teach programming but also to develop problem-solving skills that students can use in their academic and professional journey.

My teaching approach in computer programming is simple, practical, and focused on real understanding. I teach students from school and university levels by connecting concepts to real-life examples and case studies so they can see how programming works in the real world.
I mainly teach Java along with important related subjects like Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Database Management Systems, SQL, and basic Software Development concepts. I also support students in C programming and problem-solving skills which are essential for strong coding foundations.
In my classes, I encourage collaboration. Students are free to ask questions, discuss ideas, and work on small projects together. This helps them learn faster and build confidence. I also use step-by-step explanations and live coding sessions so students can clearly understand each concept.
Empathy is an important part of my teaching. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching style based on their needs. I provide extra support for difficult topics and make sure no student feels left behind.
I also focus on exam preparation, assignments, and job readiness. I guide students with practical problems, coding exercises, interview questions, and real project ideas. My goal is to make students confident in programming and ready for academic success and future careers.
