About Hazel
My passion for programming began when I discovered that logic could be transformed into useful digital solutions. I earned an M.Sc in Computer Science and Applications, where I explored both theoretical computing foundations and applied software development. Over 13 years of teaching, I have helped students build strong coding confidence through structured guidance and encouragement.
I believe programming should be taught with clarity and patience. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex problems into manageable steps and helping learners understand core principles deeply. I enjoy supporting students who feel overwhelmed at first, showing them how coding becomes approachable through practice.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with programming through personal projects, emerging technologies, and continual learning. Teaching is meaningful because students often transform from uncertainty into confidence. Supporting learners as they grow into independent coders is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Programming becomes enjoyable when students realize it is simply the art of solving problems step by step. In my lessons, I guide learners through coding fundamentals, logic building, Python, Java, and structured problem solving in a calm and supportive way. I focus on helping students understand why code works, so they develop real independence rather than memorizing patterns.
Lessons are adapted to each learner’s stage. Beginners explore variables, loops, conditions, and basic functions through guided practice. Intermediate learners strengthen skills in object-oriented programming, debugging, data structures, and writing cleaner code. Advanced students focus on algorithms, optimization, project development, APIs, and interview-style problem solving. Every session includes hands-on exercises and clear correction support.
Programming lessons help students develop patience, creativity, and analytical thinking. Many learners feel empowered when they see their ideas become real programs. My goal is to create a learning space where students feel confident experimenting, improving steadily, and building skills that support academic and career success.
