About Shreyas
I'm an incoming second-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Southampton, where I stay actively involved beyond the classroom by competing in hackathons and engineering competitions throughout the year, and serving as a committee member for Engineers Without Borders Southampton, where I help organise events that bring students together around real-world engineering challenges.
Outside of academics, I create content online centred around consumer electronics and technology. Constantly engaging with and managing diverse groups of people has sharpened my ability to communicate clearly and adapt to different personalities, which are qualities I bring directly into my tutoring sessions to ensure every student feels supported and confident.

My approach adapts to the subject. For sciences like Chemistry and Physics, I anchor concepts in real-world examples. Like, once a student can see where something actually happens in life, it sticks. For Mathematics, I lean more on visually-assisted verbal explanations wherever possible (graphs, diagrams) and use a similar real-world framing for more straightforward concepts.
Regardless of subject, once a student has grasped a concept I make sure they work through plenty of questions attacking it from different angles — because that's exactly what an exam will do, and confidence comes from repetition across varied contexts even if it is the same concept.
