About Faisal
Hi, I’m Faisal. I’m a massive fan of tech and currently studying Computer Engineering at the University of Southampton. I know what it’s like to sit in class, feel stuck, and think, “Maybe I’m just not good at this.” Sometimes, finding the right tutor to help you is all you need to get over that hurdle and build real confidence in your abilities. Now, as a tutor, I focus on making learning simple and achievable. I break down big learning goals into small, manageable steps so students can see real progress. Memorising might help you in the short-term, but I want you to understand what you’re learning — that’s where confidence really starts. I'm excited to help you master and enjoy learning!

Every child learns differently, and my approach is designed to meet them where they are, helping them not only improve their grades but also enjoy the process of learning. I believe that when a student feels confident, learning follows naturally. Hence, I focus on building understanding through encouragement and clarity. No two lessons I teach are the same, but this is what you can roughly expect each time: - Interactive sessions: I use real examples, quick challenges, and interactive questions to make sure students stay engaged and truly understand what they’re learning. - Efficient learning: Learn, consolidate, practise. There’s no better way to retain information than this simple plan, so I build each lesson around it. - Confidence through clarity: I break down tricky topics into simple, digestible steps so students feel capable, not overwhelmed. - Weekly targets: Every lesson will have a clear goal, so students feel motivated to reach their targets and proud when they do. If you’re a GCSE student or younger, I’d love to help you feel more confident and in control of your learning! Note: I am more than happy to take on children with Special Education Needs (SEN).
