About Chay
Hi, I'm Chay! I'm passionate about teaching the Rubik's Cube and helping students discover that solving it is much easier than it first seems. Whether you're picking up a cube for the first time or trying to improve your solving speed, I'm committed to making every lesson engaging, supportive, and productive.
I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and well-prepared for every lesson. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace, so I take the time to explain concepts clearly and answer every question without rushing. My goal is to help students build confidence while developing problem-solving skills that extend beyond the Rubik's Cube.
Each lesson is personalized to your experience level and learning style. I provide clear explanations, structured practice, and constructive feedback so you can see steady improvement from one lesson to the next. I also create a welcoming environment where mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn and grow.

Hi! I'm Chay, and my goal is to make learning the Rubik's Cube fun, simple, and rewarding. I believe that anyone can learn to solve a cube with the right guidance, regardless of age or experience.
My teaching style focuses on breaking the solving process into small, easy-to-understand steps. Instead of asking students to memorize dozens of algorithms at once, I explain why each move works so they build confidence and improve naturally. I also adapt every lesson to each student's learning pace and goals.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by learning one new concept or solving step. We then practice together, identify any mistakes, and finish with exercises and tips to practice independently before the next lesson. For students interested in speedcubing, I also teach finger tricks, efficient algorithms, lookahead, and strategies to reduce solve times.
What sets me apart is my patient, encouraging approach. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal isn't just to teach you how to solve a Rubik's Cube—it's to help you understand the logic behind it and enjoy the process.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you've never picked up a Rubik's Cube before, know the basics and want to finish your first solve, or are looking to improve your speed and efficiency, I'll tailor each lesson to your current skill level and help you reach your goals.
