I'm a dedicated and experienced educator with a degree in Community Development and over 13 years of experience teaching English. Techniques and Teaching Methodology My teaching methodology is centred around creating an engaging and interactive learning experience. I employ a variety of techniques depending on the subject matter and the student's learning style: Conceptual Understanding: I focus on ensuring students understand the core concepts before moving on to more complex topics. Active Learning: I incorporate questions and problem-solving during sessions to encourage students to think critically and actively engage with the material. Differentiated Instruction: Tailoring lessons to meet individual student's needs, ensuring that all students can access the content at their level. Use of Technology: Utilising digital resources and tools, such as videos, interactive simulations, and online quizzes, to enhance understanding. Typical Length of a Lesson Lessons are typically between 60 to 90 minutes. This length allows for a comprehensive exploration of the topic, while also keeping the student engaged and focused. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor Educational Background: I hold a degree in Community Development, which has equipped me with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of societal needs. Teaching Experience: With over 13 years of experience teaching English, I have developed a knack for explaining complex concepts in simple terms. My experience spans various levels, from beginners to advanced students. Who the Lessons are For Level: Lessons are designed for learners at different levels, whether they are starting out or looking to deepen their understanding of the subject.
