About Sinead
My name is Sinéad, and I’m approachable, friendly, and (sometimes) funny! I teach because I love helping others grow in confidence, develop their skills, and realise their potential through language. English isn’t always the easiest subject, but I want to make it feel more manageable and enjoyable. I’m passionate about English and want to share that passion with others. I’ve always loved how language can express ideas and emotions, and I want to help others feel confident, capable, and inspired too.

My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to your needs, whether that be with flashcards, games, etc. You'll leave each session feeling clearer, more confident, and ready to improve. Tutoring can be done online or in person (depending on location). I’m reliable, approachable, and passionate about helping students make real progress. I offer tutoring in English Language and Literature for students at A Level, GCSE level and below. Whether you're struggling with essay structure, analysing texts, grammar, creative writing, or simply want to boost your confidence in English, I can provide friendly and personalised support that suits your learning style. Having worked through both academic and creative writing challenges myself, I understand how overwhelming English can sometimes feel—but with the right guidance, it can become a real strength. I aim to make each session engaging, supportive, and tailored to your goals. I was previously an English mentor in secondary school, have completed English A Level and GCSE with strong results, and have since developed my skills through university-level modules such as Written Communication and Interpersonal Communication.
