About Martina
Hi, I am Martina, an active EASA commercial pilot and a University of Bristol graduate in Aerospace Engineering. I am also in training as a Certified Flight Instructor. I am originally from Italy, but I have lived in the UK for several years, with intermittent periods in France and the US. I have completed my training under EASA and currently fly under a German AOC. Due to the extreme similarity of the syllabus, I am comfortable tutoring students working towards both their CAA and EASA licences. I am an highly experienced tutor and therefore well-versed with teaching strategies and different styles of learning. I have been tutoring people for Italian (my native language) on Supeprof for 6+ years with excellent reviews and have since then become an Ambassador tutor. I started tutoring student pilots in 2023 after obtaining my licence. When I am not flying, I enjoy swimming, travelling, books and foreign languages. I am currently working on my 5th. I offer online tutoring and revision classes for all PPL and ATPL subjects. My flight experience will help you consolidate your learning with real-life examples from the cockpit, while my engineering background is of big help to work through any maths exercises that you might be struggling with. I teach through a combination of theory and practical examples. I will adapt to your necessities based on where you currently are with your training, i.e. just kicking off, in training, very close to your exams, etc. Feel free to get in touch for further questions.

Perfect! Martina is absolutely amazing!! She help thoroughly with working through any question you struggle with and amazing at explaining giving you the necessary and required tips on how to approach a question but also makes sure you understand it. She is also amazing at teaching the syllabus for any chapter. I highly recommend her as she has helped me so much and with her knowledge and experience in aviation really helps too!

If you're looking for a professional, capable and helpful teacher, Martina is the one for you. She can make the most difficult subject easier and you will never have problems with that anymore. You will have the opportunity to speak with a mother-tongue girl who can also amuse you with funny italian cultural facts in between breaks. Most valuable qualities: lots of practice, good tips to avoid common mistakes and last but not least: always there to help you!

Martina Preti has been an excellent and diligent tutor - very encouraging and making the lessons and learning enjoyable! I expected that learning a new language would be quite daunting, but Martina has a patient way of moving me steadily forward. Much to recommend!
Martina and I first met at fourteen. We attended an international high school together where we learnt multiple languages while also carrying forward an Italian curriculum. Martina’s academic background has given her first hand experience on foreign language learning processes as well as in-depth understanding of the importance of interactive teaching.
