About Joanna
Joanna Wojewoda is a Toronto based commercial and editorial photographer specializing in food and product photography.
Over the years she has worked with many clients such as Holt Renfrew, Penguin Publishing, Dare Breton, Boulart, General Motors - Maven, Julie Daniluk, Mejuri, Platinum Naturals, Pi-Co, along with many others including small, local businesses. Besides sharing her passion for photography and food through the means of creating images, Joanna offers her knowledge and years of experience in group workshop settings and one-on-one mentoring sessions.

Since 2018, Joanna Wojewoda has been offering private photography lessons tailored directly to your needs. She’s a passionate and engaging photographer with over a decade of professional experience behind the lens as well as retouching using a combination of Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture1. Joanna has mentored many up-and-coming photographers, business owners, and hobbyists who, with a bit of guidance, have gained confidence and knowledge on shooting, editing, workflow, advertising, marketing, social media management, and strategy - in other words, the overall business of photography.
One-on-one mentoring sessions and lessons range from the basics (how to use your fancy new digital camera, creative rules) to the essentials (planning your shoot, sorting, organizing, and archiving files, workflow, tethered shooting, styling) and more advanced concepts (post-production, business strategy, client outreach) and are open to individuals with all levels of photography experience. Content and teaching techniques are tailored based on experience and goals.
Some of the one-on-one mentoring sessions and lessons formats include interactive lectures, demonstrations followed by practice and photo critiques.
