With pertinance to technique and methodology, I have found what worked for me in achieving high grades was understanding the way my brain processed information, acknowledging that it may not look the same as others, and conforming. Thus, my tutoring is tailored to the student, be it visual learning, creating songs, or simply making mind maps. Furthermore, I believe in overloading the brain and that effective learning is done in small intervals specific to the student's brain capacity followed by active recall so as to keep the brain stimulated to maximize information intake.
Thus, the typical length of a lesson would be about an hour, however, this figure is flexible as it is heavily reliant on the student's brain capacity, There is no use teaching a child who is not paying attention! My lesson is for high school students between the ages of 13-18 as I am still in the process of studying at a tertiary level. This being said, I took Cambridge O-Levels in 2020 in which I achieved 6As and 2A*S, in 2021 I got 4As for Cambridge AS Levels and in 2022, i got 2As and a B for Cambridge ALevels. In 2021, under a club called Da Vinci at my highschool,I tutored younger children who were falling behind in class in their respective subjects.
