Perfect! Maria has a comprehensive grasp on the mechanics and geography of language and grammar, so in addition to learning the "what" and "how" of Spanish I'm also learning the "why" and "where". This is important to me because I prefer to know the rules of communication in addition to merely being able to get around. In other words, Maria is providing a foundation to solve Spanish problems in Spanish rather than English.

I'm supplementing Maria's tutoring sessions with Duolingo every day. I find the combination is highly affective. The language app drills vocabulary into my head and the tutoring allows me to converse and problem solve with the support of a speaking partner.
