About Frank
I have been teaching since the mid 80s.
Normally my classes have about 30 students attending.
On average using my method of instruction, 90% of my students earn a grade of an A or B.
I am a consulting scientist and engineer. So, my instruction is practical and trains students for jobs in the real world. Normally I require my students to do a term project in mathematical modeling and simulation. Students apply what they are learning to real live engineering situations.

I am a PhD physicist, mathematician and electrical engineer. I have taught physics, mathematics, engineering and electronic instrumentation at the university, community college and high school level. For instruction in the university, I used the flipped classroom method (i.e. students are given videos to watch as homework. In class instruction is quick review of the main points of the videos. The majority of my time is spent helping students apply the material. The instruction is one on one. All my teaching materials: homework, lectures problems and solutions are uploaded to the web and accessible by students. This method of instruction have been proven very successful.
