I have been tutoring middle school, high school, and college level mathematics for three years in San Diego, and have always had success with my clients and students. My tutoring philosophy is that abstract mathemaitcal ideas need to be broken down into simpler concepts before any advanced techniques can be used. Using examples and real world problems, I find that taking things slow and checking for understanding develops real learning in a student.
