About Shalom
I'm a college student with an interest in English, communication, art, and dance. Academics have always been a main focus of my life; I am currently attending a prestigious liberal arts college to study English and International Relations. My past experience tutoring math has prepared me to pass on my own skills to young students who are looking to not just complete their homework and achieve good grades, but also gain a deep understanding of the subjects that may not come easily to them. Having been raised in a large family, I enjoy working with young children and creating a fun learning environment.

Hi! My name is Shalom, and I'm a dedicated college student with an extensive academic background and a high GPA. I have experience in tutoring elementary to middle school math and assisting middle school students with math homework. I focus on a patient teaching method that is shaped by the student's learning style. I'll walk the student through the subject, stopping at any problem areas to review concepts and ensure they have a solid grasp on topics before moving on. If necessary, I will also supply supplemental materials such as flashcards or quizzes to improve memorization and mastery of the topic.
