About Jordan
I have tutored athletes at Indiana University for the past year and will continue to do so this year. As a tutor at Indiana University, I have helped these athletes improve their grades and better understand concepts in subjects such as, Spanish, French and Calculus. Also, I spent this past summer working at Lindamood-Bell, a company where I taught children with learning disabilities how to read. The results of my teaching were extremely clear at Lindamood-Bell since the students were tested and then re-tested to further validate their research.

Typically when I tutor, I offer lessons to students of all ages, as long as the student's knowledge of the material is lower than mine (obviously). The methods and techniques I prefer to use while tutoring include fully explaining the meaning behind the problem and then allowing for the student to test what concepts they grasped from me. Then, if there were any errors, I would repeat the process to ensure that the student is independent in their thinking.
