About Thomas
I am a robust and potent stage actor and teacher. For the last 7 years I have taught acting at Cal State Long Beach. I use an array of methodologies actors employ to prepare for theatrical performance; primarily Stanislavski based systems and pedagogy derived from Michael Chekhov, The Viewpoints and Declan Donnellan. Fitzmaurice Voicework process-oriented principles also fuel my teaching philosophy. I inspire students to expand their craft and and have great fun in the process.

About lessons: I can teach you, coach you, and/or direct you in your contemporary, classical acting for stage, screen and/or public speaking. I will help you expand and develop your tools and techniques based on what you need. We can explore your potential for imagination, impulsive creativity and analysis in your work.
I can help you acquire tools to enhance your ability to be confident and powerful in performance, auditions, while public speaking and in high pressure situations. we can do all of this with joy and compassion.
