My name is Marissa Fluno, and I am currently a sophomore in college. I am a double major in Journalism and Sociology, and hope to use my degrees to become an investigative reporter for a media outlet. I began tutoring in my junior year of high school while I was taking classes at a community college. I cannot wait to work with you!

My goal as your tutor is to help you become more confident in your ability as a writer! I prefer to use a joint-problem-solving strategy technique where we arrive at the solution to the problem together. With this strategy, you will soon be able to ask questions and analyze your work independently, so that in future you will not need a tutor at all! However, I am equipped to be able to help with anything from essay development to proofreading to creative pieces.
My lessons are better suited for high school and college students, as my experience currently stems from this age group.
