About Tina
Hi there! I’m Tina, and I’m here to make learning less stressful—and maybe even a little fun. Learning doesn’t have to be intimidating, and I believe that with the right support, everyone can thrive. Whether you’re someone who’s always loved school or someone who’s never felt quite at home in the classroom, I create a safe, supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and grow without judgment. I’m a qualified and experienced tutor with a solid academic background in history, general education, and English language teaching. Over the years, I’ve worked with both adults and children, and I truly enjoy helping learners of all ages and backgrounds overcome challenges and unlock their potential. My students often come to me feeling anxious, confused, or unsure of themselves. Together, we turn that around. My goal is to not only help you understand the material, but also to help you feel more confident in your abilities—and even start enjoying the learning process along the way. So whether you’re: Preparing for school exams or assignments, Studying history or education at university level, Learning English as a second language, Or just looking to improve your communication, study habits, or critical thinking skills... …I’m here to guide you every step of the way, with lessons that are customized to your goals, your pace, and your learning style. I bring structure and clarity where things feel confusing, and I always try to keep things engaging with real-life examples, active discussion, and—when the moment calls for it—a little humor to lighten the mood. Because learning should feel empowering, not overwhelming.

1. Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching method is student-centered, adaptive, and interdisciplinary. I use the following techniques across subjects:
Socratic Dialogue and Inquiry-Based Learning
I prompt learners with questions that lead them to discover answers on their own.
Encourages critical thinking and personal engagement with the material.
Scaffolded Learning
I break complex ideas into manageable steps.
Each concept builds on prior knowledge to support long-term understanding.
Multi-modal Instruction
I use text, visuals, timelines, maps (for history), real-life examples (for life skills), and case studies (for educational studies).
Appeals to different learning styles (auditory, visual, kinesthetic).
Real-World Application
I connect abstract theories (especially in educational studies and life skills) to practical scenarios.
Role-playing, mock debates, historical reenactments, and real-world problem-solving exercises are part of this.
Reflective Learning
I prompt learners to reflect on their learning process and how they can apply knowledge in their personal and academic lives.
Useful for developing metacognition and soft skills.
