About Eliza
A lifelong learner, nothing warms my heart more than seeing a genuine love for the acquisition of knowledge cultivate in others. In May of 2021, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Biola University, where I received degrees in Engish Writing and Biblical & Theological Studies. While in college, and even a bit after college, I worked as a tutor for my fellow peers and as a coach at the Boys and Girls Club, in which tutoring was a crucial part of the day-to-day grind. In my spare time, you can catch me curled up with a book, exploring a new place, drinking coffee, or possibly doing all 3.

No student excels in every subject. I get it. When I was in school, math was especially difficult. But with practice, and help from teachers, friends, and you guessed it, tutors, my math grades not only improved, but I also began to actually enjoy the subject. My goal isn't to give students the answers but to assist, encourage and support them in their studies. I want students to not merely come out of my sessions with higher marks (though that's certainly a plus) but to leave feeling encouraged, more confident, and with a genuine enjoyment for school and learning.
