About Chad
I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. The first four years of my career were spent as an Admissions Counselor at a liberal arts college in California, where I learned the ins and outs of the college admissions process. My Master’s in Education with an Emphasis in Counseling ultimately led me to a private, college-prep high school in Denver, Colorado, where I spent ten years counseling students in the academic and college categories. I am a vetted member of the IECA, which exists to maintain the ethics and standards of the educational consulting industry, as well as SACAC, a collaborative network of admissions professionals. In addition to this, I am a certified essay coach through WOW essay workshop. Since the beginning, I continue to travel the country and other parts of the world, attending conferences and visiting colleges, all with the goal of gathering information to pass on to students and their families. My dedication to visiting colleges first-hand was demonstrated in 2022-2023, when I traveled the country, lived in a camper, and visited over 160 colleges.

There is a wonderful college out there waiting for you. I will help you find it by discovering what makes you thrive in a learning environment and a "home," both of which are essential in a college. In 2022-2023, I dedicated a whole year to traveling the country and visiting over 160 schools so I could learn firsthand what they had to offer and thus help students build the best college list.
Once that list is created, I will walk with you through each step in the admissions process, calling back on everything I learned as a former admissions counselor who worked for a college. As an essential component of the application, the college essay is meant to tell your own unique story, and I will help you do just that using my expertise in college essay writing. Let's have fun together in owning the college admissions process, rather than letting it own you!
