About Shirley
Developing technical fluency across 11 years has shaped my ability to simplify complex logic for students ranging from absolute beginners to working professionals. My background combines an MSc in Data Science with a BEcon from Sydney, providing a unique vantage point on how algorithms drive real-world commerce. I focus on building robust problem-solving skills on coding platforms and clarifying backend basics for those aiming at competitive degrees. Helping Year 11 and 12 students navigate the intersection of computer science and economics remains my primary objective.
I teach Python and version control through the lens of a hybrid degree coach. This methodical approach ensures that learners grasp high-level concepts while mastering essential industry tools.
