About Lauren
I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Wyoming, where I assisted coding workshops, robotics events, and youth tech programs. With five years of online teaching experience, I’ve helped complete beginners and growing programmers build real skill and confidence. Parents appreciate my structured explanations; students enjoy the creative, relaxed way I teach coding.

I start coding lessons by introducing students to the logic behind computer thinking. Once this foundation feels clear, learning actual code becomes much easier. Python becomes a tool for creating simple programs, JavaScript introduces interactive ideas, Java builds strong structure, SQL teaches data understanding, and MATLAB helps explain numerical thinking.
For creative learners, I offer video game programming, helping students design characters, movement, scoring, and basic interactions. Whenever an error appears, I go through it slowly, explaining how the computer interprets each line of code so the student feels confident correcting it.
My lessons are friendly, supportive, and completely flexible in scheduling so every student can learn comfortably around their school day.
