About Devinia
I am a Registered Nurse with B.Cur nursing as well as BA Nursing Education and Management. I am currently a clinical preceptor for 2nd year nursing students at one of the universities in Johannesburg.
My passion for nursing education started when I was a junior nurse working in a tertiary hospital where students were placed.
I have over 15 years experience in the nursing field and began my clinical supervisor experience since 2012

What makes my clinical teaching different:
I offer personalized clinical skills training for 1st and 2nd year nursing students, both online and in-person in Midrand. My teaching focuses on OSCE preparations through structured skills practice, mock OSCEs and Examiner-style feedback. Sessions are tailored to each student's needs, especially those who struggle with clinical confidence, step sequence, or performance anxiety. My goal is not just to teach skills, but to help students perform confidently and competently during assessments and in practice.
NB! ONLINE sessions include live demonstrations, step-by-step breakdowns, verbalizations of procedures, and OSCE-style questioning to ensure understanding-Not passive watching
