About Tara
I have previously taught students in a primary school (Ages 8-11), and in one-on-one tutor sessions up to GCSE level (Ages 12 - 16). I have also taught older students (17 - 21) on an informal basis. I love to teach and share my lifelong passion for Classics, and I look forward to working with eager students!

I have studied Latin and Ancient Greek since I was 11, and I achieved 79.5% in my Classics degree at the University of St Andrews. I will teach anyone of any level, whether they are aged 6 with a love for the Romans, or 21 and going into their final year of university, or even 60 and finally getting to start Ancient Greek like they've wanted to their whole life!
I also provide proof-reading and essay writing services. I am happy to provide this in any subject of your choice, though in other areas I may not be able to advise on the content of the material as I can with Classics.
I am happy to offer group classes or one-on-one sessions. I like to build relationships with my students, and offer a personalised teaching programme depending on their needs. I will start out our lessons with one free session, so that I can assess your background and the goals you wish to achieve. At the moment my schedule is fairly flexible, so I am happy to meet (via Zoom) with you at your convenience.
