About Zander
I am a dedicated tutor with extensive experience in international education. I founded a private tutoring business in the Middle East and played a key role in designing a network of K–12 schools in Africa, giving me a strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and student support. I teach Latin and Ancient Greek from GCSE to A-level, with classes tailored to each student. My approach combines clear grammar instruction, regular vocabulary work, and guided translation of texts, alongside discussion of literature, history and culture. Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes, online and one-to-one, adapting pace and content to the student’s level and goals. I hold a degree in Classics from the University of Oxford and have experience preparing students for exams, supporting essay writing, and explaining difficult grammatical points in English. Lessons are aimed at secondary students (roughly ages 11–18), from beginners to A-level candidates.
