About Ondrej
I am a practising oil painter with an MFA and exhibiting experience in London. My work is grounded in disciplined observation, structure, and material sensitivity rather than quick decorative effect.
Alongside my artistic practice, I hold a PhD in Theoretical Computer Science. This informs my teaching style: rigorous, thoughtful, and attentive to underlying structure. I approach painting as a craft that rewards patience, intelligence, and sustained attention.

Perfect! Great teacher.
Perfect! Ondrej is very patient and always takes time to explain the theory behind painting. It's great to be in the presence of a working artist where I can see the progress of his paintings and discuss the inspiration behind his paintings

A master of art and science, Ondrej is a great tutor and teacher, and a very talented painter, too.
I recently had a couple of sketching sessions with Ondrej, and I want to highlight his patience and clear explanations of the fundamental steps involved. His teaching style made the sessions enjoyable and informative. I found his guidance invaluable in improving my sketching skills. I would highly recommend him to others.
I’ve worked with Ondrej as a model and he has a dedication, passion and knowledge about his craft that seems to be constantly expanding and deepening. I’m sure he has a lot to share to anyone wishing to acquire more freedom and knowledge in the arts.
Ondrej is a fantastic artist. He has so much knowledge to share and just being around him sparks creativity in you.
