I found Diane on Superprof and decided to inquire about learning to improve my singing with her because of her extensive experience and positive testimonials that clearly evidenced the benefits of her teaching, particularly regarding effective and healthy vocal technique.

Diane is very easy to learn from because she is polite, friendly, professional, and clear, and never makes one feel embarrassed or uncomfortable about singing performance that could be enhanced. I didn’t know fully what to expect from her pedagogical philosophy of Functional Voice Training, but I have benefited considerably from utilizing it with Diane’s guidance. I feel it can help anyone regardless of the genre they want to sing music in.

I am a relative newcomer to the world of singing and I reasoned that if I was learning to play a musical instrument I would be taking lessons and also, being of rather more mature years I was concerned that I might be losing notes in the upper register, the skills listed by Diane on her website appeared to fit the bill. I have been enjoying a weekly lesson since May 2024 and under Diane's tuition have been amazed at the capabilities of the male voice, at one stage I was singing in areas normally inhabited by counter tenors. As a second bass, this came as something as a surprise.
The sessions, one of the highlights of the week, consist of exercises, discussions about the theory of voice production and much mutual laughter, I am now considerably more confident in my singing and using techniques taught by Diane am able to reach all the notes in the bass register. I thoroughly recommend Diane as a voice coach.
