About Scott
With 12 years of experience on the guitar, I have studied many styles including Classical, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Folk and many more. I have been teaching students for 7 or more years as well with teaching jobs of 20 hours or more a week. From an education point of view I come from the University of Toronto, where I learned from the great Jeffrey McFadden. I have also done summer study in countries such as Spain and France. With me there are many options for our lessons, and we will work on a structured series of lessons that’s good for you.

In lessons with me there is a very systematic approach. To begin we will discuss goals and your current level. I generally will give recommendations of different songs/pieces to learn and I will utilize classical guitar methodologies and pedagogy. Other essential musical skills such as ear training and sight reading will also be developed. The lessons and content will be logical, and with the right amount of practice you will excel greatly!
