About Giovana
Mathematics and physics are often difficult to understand subjects. So I like to make my students see otherwise what seems very abstract. My methodology involves stepping out of the traditional teaching method and exploring the best way for the student to understand and solve all kinds of exercises. Also, I like to solve different problems to work the understanding of the subject with the student.

My name is Giovana Abreu, I am 20 years old and I am a student of the fourth period of civil engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. My contact with the exact ones comes from very young, about 11 years old, when I participated in Brazilian math Olympics and was awarded for 7 consecutive years, with gold, silver and bronze medals. In 2016 I was awarded a silver medal at the Brazilian Physics Olympics. Because of this, I took an applied math course for 6 years. I currently work as a professor of mathematics for OBMEP medalists at UFMG. Teaching is very rewarding to me!
