About Miguel
I am currently a Civil Engineering student with a passion for mathematics. I was once a middle and high school student who constantly struggled with my math skills and thought there was something wrong with me or that I was "dumb". But with the help of some great teachers, I realized I was looking at the subject all wrong. I rid myself of my math anxiety and started looking at subject through a lense of curiosity and exploration, and I wish to do the same for other students.

I teach with the purpose of demystifying mathematics and to prepare students with what they can expect in their upper division math classes. I put the highest priority in teaching intuition for problem solving, as opposed to just memorization for their next exam. My specialty is in all levels of Algebra and Geometry, with good knowledge in Calculus as well.
