About Abdullah
I am a dedicated tutor with a strong passion for teaching, problem-solving, and continuous learning. With over two years of tutoring experience, I have helped Year 9-12 students excel in Mathematics and English, including General & Further Mathematics for VCE. Beyond academics, my background in boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu has taught me discipline, patience, and resilience, which I apply to my teaching style. I also enjoy coding in Python, which has strengthened my logical thinking and problem-solving abilities—skills that I incorporate into my lessons to help students approach challenges with confidence and adaptability.

I believe that every student learns differently, so my tutoring approach is tailored to suit individual learning styles. Whether it's mathematics or English, I encourage active participation, guiding students through problem-solving rather than just providing answers. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and improve their academic performance.
With over two years of private tutoring experience, I have helped Year 9-12 students strengthen their understanding in Mathematics and English, including General & Further Mathematics for VCE. My lessons typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, focusing on exam strategies, structured practice, and study techniques to ensure students can study smarter, not harder. I am committed to creating a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking on academic challenges with confidence.
