About Samuel
As I grew up in a multicultural family I have always been interested in languages and cultures. I got the diploma and then graduated in Languages with 2:1 at University of Ferrara 2 years in advance with honours in French, English, Italian and Spanish. I did a professor internship in an English school in Italy and I have been giving private lessons for 5 years now. I also won the prize "Iuvenes Translators" in 2018 in Ferrara for the best translation in French. I'm currently working in a secondary school in Swinton, Manchester, covering French and Spanish most of the time. Don't hesitate to contact me even for a quick chat, ciao! In the first lesson we will get to know each other and you will describe your goals and needs as well as your favourite methods and interests. This will help me to prepare the best lesson customised for you in order to create an interest for learning. Unless you need to focus on specific activities, like preparing for a GCSE, I usually do native conversation (slow or quick depending on the level) in order to go through some grammar and vocabulary. These conversations can also be based on fascinating topics such as current events, culture & literature as well as your main passions & hobbies. Perfect! Learning a new language, particularly as an adult can be daunting. Samuel put me at ease immediately and is really engaging, patient and encouraging. Samuel is a great guy, very kind and very prepared. He has help me a lot in my college course for French, he knows a lot of vocabulary since his mom is French! Can't go wrong with this guy. 100% recommended
He was super nice to me, I think I found a new friend more than a tutor.
I took some french lessons with Samuel, trying to improve this language. The time that I spent with him was productive and funny, he is such a good and friendly person, the right combination to learn a new language without getting bored. Goof job Samuel!
