About Matt
I am a musician for Pilgrim Church of God in Christ. I have been in the music ministry for 10 years playing piano, keyboard, organ, and drums. I began giving lessons in 2014 and I have taught students aged 6-21.

My teaching method is to have students master the major and minor scales first. Next, they'll learn ear training techniques before getting into learning progressions for specific songs. I like to walk through the scales as carefully as possible to make them natural so students can follow along to virtually any song by ear.
