About Dishang

I believe a good tutor should be patient, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping students grow. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges so that lessons feel comfortable, clear, and purposeful.

As a Liberal Arts student at Christ University, I bring curiosity and an open-minded approach to teaching. I welcome questions, encourage students to express their opinions, and value different interpretations rather than expecting everyone to think alike.

I am committed to being punctual, prepared, and attentive to each student’s progress. My aim is to help learners feel more confident in their abilities and develop a genuine interest in the subjects they study.

About the lesson

I am a BA Liberal Arts student at Christ University, Bengaluru, specialising in History and Heritage Studies. I enjoy exploring literature, culture, and history, and making these subjects easy and interesting to learn.

My teaching methods: I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and interactive discussions to help students understand concepts rather than memorise them.

A typical class: We begin with the topic, explore key ideas through examples and discussion, and finish with a quick recap or practice activity.

What makes my classes special: I connect literature and culture to everyday life, encourage independent thinking, and adapt lessons to each student’s pace and needs.

Who can join? School students, beginners, and learners interested in English literature, cultural studies, history, and humanities. I can also help with text analysis, reading comprehension, and exam preparation.

My goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help every student think beyond the textbook.
