About Averie
I am a private Chinese tutor who believes learning Chinese should be engaging and relevant to everyday life while equipping students with the skills and confidence to excel academically. I achieved A1 in both O-Level Chinese and Higher Chinese, as well as an A in A-Level H2 Chinese Language and Literature.

With 3 years of tutoring experience, I customise each lesson according to the student's learning style and provide targeted notes and practice materials to address their weaknesses. I strive to clarify unfamiliar concepts, actively engage students during lessons, and review their assignments to reinforce learning. My students have achieved significant improvements, including progressing from failing prelims to B3 in O-Level Chinese, C6 to A1 for a Secondary 4 student, C6 to B3 for a Secondary 3 student, failing to 80+/100 for a Primary 3 student, and consistently achieving 90+/100 for a Primary 5 student. As a bilingual tutor, I communicate effectively in both English and Chinese, allowing me to explain concepts clearly, build strong rapport with students, and make lessons engaging and approachable
