About Gryphon
I went to a Chinese immersion elementary school and continued to study the language throughout all of middle and high school. As of last year, I completed all the language classes available to me at my college (including a classical Chinese class, which is kind of the English equivalent of learning Latin). I adore teaching what I know of the language and would love to help improve the next generation of Mandarin speakers!

Constant conversation and tone fixes are incredibly helpful for reaching complete fluency. I am also happy to focus on specific areas of struggle, as it always varies from person to person. Whether that be going over reading or writing characters, or ensuring words can be identified via listening 'quizzes'
