About Maurice
My name is Maurice Wang, and my Chinese given name is Zimo. I am passionate about learning and teaching Chinese, and I believe that every student has the potential to excel when given the right guidance. I’m currently studying in a high school in the U.S. and have been actively teaching Chinese to my classmates and those who are interested in Chinese.
As a dedicated volunteer teacher, I focus on creating engaging, interactive lessons that not only teach language but also introduce cultural aspects that make learning fun and meaningful. My lessons are flexible and personalized to the needs and interests of the students, rather than a rigid Chinese syllabus. I strive to help each student feel confident in their abilities and excited about the progress they make. Whether it's helping students speak fluently or understand the richness of Chinese culture, I’m committed to being a supportive and motivating guide on their Chinese learning journey.

-Review & Homework (10 mins): Recap and assignment.
