About Jack
I am a dedicated chess tutor passionate about helping students improve their understanding and performance through effective coaching methods. With years of teaching experience, I have guided learners in developing strategic awareness, tactical skills, and a disciplined approach to the game while maintaining an enjoyable and supportive learning atmosphere.
My teaching philosophy focuses on building independent thinkers who can analyze situations, solve problems, and make thoughtful decisions. I encourage students to understand concepts rather than memorize moves, allowing them to adapt their strategies during different game situations and improve their overall confidence on the chessboard.

My chess lessons are designed to develop strong analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and confident gameplay through a structured and personalized learning approach. Students are introduced to essential chess concepts, including piece coordination, board awareness, calculation methods, and planning techniques that help them understand the deeper logic behind every move.
I teach through a combination of practical games, tactical exercises, opening studies, middlegame planning, and endgame analysis. Each session focuses on improving decision-making skills, recognizing patterns, and building the ability to evaluate positions effectively. Students also explore classical and modern games to understand different strategies used by successful players.
Lessons are customized based on the learner’s skill level, whether they are beginners, intermediate players, or tournament participants. Regular game reviews, personalized feedback, and targeted practice activities help students identify areas of improvement and achieve steady progress. My goal is to create an engaging learning environment where students develop confidence and enjoy the journey of mastering chess.
