About Maddison
I am a chess tutor with over 7 years of experience, passionate about helping students build strategy and confidence. My lessons focus on decision-making, foresight, and creative problem-solving.
I work with beginners, intermediate players, and aspiring tournament competitors. Lessons include tactical exercises, positional analysis, and simulated game scenarios.
Students learn to anticipate opponents’ moves, manage risk, and plan several steps ahead. I emphasise patience, analytical thinking, and adaptability. Lessons also explore classic games, opening principles, and endgame strategies.
