About Mikel
I have been teaching for 7 years and currently I have 60 students (school, associations and individuals). My youngest students are already able to function in friendly or children's tournaments but, what is more important for me, they are able to take advantage of chess as a way of thinking for life, always looking for a hidden solution. I am not only a chess teacher, but I like to show what is "beyond" the game.

I am 43 years old and 27 years old as a chess player, I am passionate about this game. I have about 60 students (schools and associations). I teach children from 7 years old onwards, even adults with an intermediate level. In my classes I do not teach pure and simple chess, but as a transversal tool to help solve problems of everyday life, in addition, of course, to show the tactics, strategies, openings and endings of the game, but always from a "coaching point of view". ". I usually work with my students on the topic of defending their position with explanations and rationale, which helps to create their own criteria. I have giant boards for group classes or for individual classes. It should be added that I write articles on chess and pedagogy in a magazine.

Perfect! Cercano y amable! Conecta muy bien respetando la individualidad del niño y se enfoca para aprender de manera divertida
Perfect! Entregadísimo, buenísimo, muy familiarizado con educar a los niños. Trae muy buenos materiales y las clases amenas. Muy puntual y mi nena muy contenta cuando sabe que va a venir el profe.
- La clase ha ido muy bien. Ava es un niña muy inteligente, con gran concentración e interés. Así es muy fácil dar clases. Hay mucho por aprender y mucho para divertirse dentro del mundo del ajedrez.Mikel's response :
Perfect! Mis hijas están encantadas con Mikel. Cada día están más motivadas y tienen más ganas de seguir aprendiendo. Sabe muchísimo de ajedrez y transmite su entusiasmo por esta actividad. En el trato, es una persona muy amable y que conecta muy bien con las niñas. Es un profesor muy, muy recomendable.
- Desde finales del año pasado les he dado clases de ajedrez a sus dos hijas y realmente ha sido una experiencia muy buena, grandes alumnas que muestra mucho interés por el ajedrez. Poco a poco se van dando cuenta de lo increíble que es este deporte-ciencia.Mikel's response :
Perfect! Mikel ha sido un excelente profesor, no puedo estar más contento y satisfecho con la forma de motivar a mis hijos durante las clases. Además ha sabido adaptarse al nivel de ellos y fomentarles la curiosidad por aprender ajedrez divirtiéndose. Recomendable 100% y seguro que repetiremos.

Mikel es un gran persona y un gran profesor, el curso pasado dio clases a mi hija Laia de 5º de Primaria y acabamos muy contentas con el resultado. Este año seguiremos con él. Ha conseguido que a Laia le empiecen a gustar las matemáticas y ha ganado mucho en seguridad. Recomendable al 100%.
Mikel es muy buen profesor de ajedrez, está formado para ello y tiene vocación, que es lo más importante.
