About Elliot
I completed my A levels in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science achieving an A* A* A* A in 2024. I am currently a fourth year Chemistry undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh achieving an A grade each year. I had directly entered into the second year of the degree and as a result am able to learn very quickly and adapt well which is critical for teaching. I was also a part of the ChemPals group in my University helping to teach lower year students to understand lecture content.
Chemistry is a great passion of mine and would like to pursue a career in research in the field of organic synthesis and organometallics. With Maths, I achieved the highest score in my cohort, achieving 287/300 and have always enjoyed the subject alongside my Chemistry studies.
Having taken exams regularly and often, I know what is necessary for students to achieve well in exams not only on knowledge but with technique also and I would love to share this with you! Thanks!

I teach Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at both A level and GCSE. I find that a key to doing well on A levels and GCSEs is pattern recognition - thus my tutoring pays very close attention
to specification and incorporating past exam questions.
Lessons consist of PowerPoint documents tailored to your specified areas for improvement and meetings will begin with quick recap quizzes to reinforce important learning topics and discussions from the last session. This is called active recall and is very effective to remember content quickly. Thank you for reading and I look forwards to meeting you!
