I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My passion lies in the fascinating world of food preservation chemistry and food analysis. I love exploring the chemical changes that happen during food spoilage and how antioxidants and emulsifiers play crucial roles in keeping food fresh. From canning and drying to fermentation, I enjoy unpacking the science behind various preservation methods.
In my lessons, I guide students to understand these processes deeply, helping them see food safety and quality through a chemical lens. I believe that chemistry is at the heart of how we keep our food safe, nutritious, and delicious. Whether it’s studying how microbes interact with food or the role of preservatives, I make these concepts accessible and engaging.
My goal is to help students build strong foundations in chemistry while connecting theory to real-world applications in food science. Together, we’ll uncover the secrets behind what happens to food at the molecular level.
