About Leah
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry. My passion is making quantum chemistry concepts accessible, clear, and engaging for university students. I focus on atomic and molecular orbitals, bonding theories, and spectroscopic transitions, breaking down complex ideas into understandable steps. I use illustrative models, diagrams, and theoretical derivations to help students visualise and internalise abstract concepts. Lessons are interactive, encouraging questions and discussions to deepen understanding. I have experience working with chemistry majors as well as physical science students, tailoring explanations to each learner’s level. I emphasise building a strong foundation in quantum mechanics principles while connecting them to real chemical behaviour.
