About Emilia
My interest in chemistry started with a fascination for reactions, molecular interactions, and the structure of matter. I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, gaining expertise in reaction mechanisms, analytical techniques, and laboratory skills. Over the past 10 years, I have taught students of all levels, helping them develop both conceptual understanding and practical proficiency through structured, interactive, and engaging lessons.
I emphasize clarity, patience, and adaptability in teaching. Many learners find chemical concepts abstract, so I break lessons into clear, manageable steps, provide relatable examples, and integrate problem-solving exercises. This approach ensures students develop understanding, confidence, and analytical thinking.
Outside teaching, I actively engage in chemical research, lab experimentation, and applied studies, which enrich my lessons with real-world relevance. Watching students progress from uncertainty to mastery, confidence, and curiosity is incredibly rewarding. Supporting learners in understanding chemistry while fostering a passion for scientific exploration is the most fulfilling aspect of my professional work.

Chemistry lessons focus on helping learners understand the principles, patterns, and applications of chemical phenomena. I guide students through atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, acids and bases, thermodynamics, kinetics, and laboratory techniques. Beginners focus on foundational topics such as atomic theory, basic reactions, solution preparation, and introductory lab safety. Intermediate learners work on stoichiometry, titrations, equilibrium, kinetics, and multi-step calculations. Advanced learners explore organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, spectroscopy, analytical methods, and experimental design. Each lesson incorporates guided practice, analytical exercises, and feedback to reinforce learning and build confidence.
Chemistry education also strengthens analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and observation skills. Students gain confidence in laboratory work, interpreting experimental results, and applying theory to practical scenarios.
