About Natalie
My interest in chemistry began with a fascination for how molecules interact, react, and transform in the world around us. This curiosity led me to complete a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, providing a solid foundation in both theoretical principles and laboratory practices. Over 12 years, I have worked with learners of different levels, helping them develop confidence, conceptual clarity, and analytical reasoning skills.
I prioritize structured, interactive, and student-focused teaching. Lessons include stepwise explanations, visual demonstrations, practical exercises, and real-world examples. Students are encouraged to hypothesize, reason independently, and reflect on outcomes, building both competence and confidence in chemistry.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged in research, laboratory exploration, and chemical analysis projects, which enrich my lessons with current and practical insights. Watching learners transform from hesitation to mastery, and from confusion to confidence, is deeply rewarding. My mission is to cultivate both technical competence and intellectual curiosity while inspiring a lasting appreciation for the logic and beauty of chemistry.

Chemistry is most impactful when learners understand how abstract principles translate into observable chemical phenomena, laboratory experiments, and practical applications. My lessons cover atomic and molecular structure, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, equilibrium, stoichiometry, acids and bases, and analytical chemistry. Each lesson encourages students to develop critical thinking, make predictions, and approach problems with curiosity and confidence. By linking theory to real-life situations, learners gain both comprehension and motivation, fostering a deeper appreciation for the subject.
I tailor lessons to the proficiency and goals of each student. Beginners focus on foundational chemical principles, simple reactions, and basic calculations, while intermediate learners engage with multi-step mechanisms, quantitative problem-solving, and interpretation of experimental data. Advanced learners explore reaction modeling, thermodynamic analysis, and advanced laboratory techniques. Every lesson combines structured explanation, hands-on exercises, discussion, and reflection to reinforce mastery while promoting independent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
