About Giselle
My fascination with chemistry started when I first observed chemical reactions during school laboratory experiments. This experience encouraged me to study chemistry further and complete a Bachelor’s in Chemistry. Over the last 6 years, I have been teaching students and helping them understand chemical concepts in a clear and approachable way.
I believe chemistry should be taught with patience and practical examples. Many learners initially feel overwhelmed by formulas and equations, so I focus on explaining ideas step by step and using visual illustrations whenever possible. This method allows students to gradually build confidence while learning complex topics.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about scientific research and exploring how chemistry contributes to medicine, environmental science, and technology. Continuing to learn helps me introduce new examples and ideas into my lessons. Supporting students as they gain confidence in chemistry is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

Chemistry can appear complex because it includes formulas, reactions, and scientific terminology. My lessons focus on helping students understand the meaning behind chemical concepts so they can connect theory with practical examples. Topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and energy changes are explained in a clear and structured way. Using real-life examples like cooking reactions or environmental processes helps students understand how chemistry works in everyday life.
During lessons, students learn to analyze chemical equations and solve problems step by step. Beginners focus on atomic structure, elements, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners explore bonding, reaction types, and solution chemistry. Advanced students study thermodynamics, equilibrium, and analytical problem solving. Practice exercises and visual explanations help students strengthen their understanding.
As students progress, they begin to recognize chemistry in many everyday processes around them. This awareness often increases curiosity and appreciation for science. My goal is to help students develop confidence in chemistry while improving their analytical and problem-solving skills.
