About Lars
My passion for chemistry began with fascination for how invisible molecular interactions create the physical world around us. This curiosity led me to earn a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences and later an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, where I explored reaction pathways, molecular design, and the depth of chemical systems. Over the past 10 years, I have guided students through chemistry with a teaching style built on patience, clarity, and encouragement. Teaching chemistry has shown me that learners thrive when they understand concepts deeply rather than memorising disconnected facts.
My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and highly adaptable. I break down difficult topics into clear steps, using diagrams, real-world examples, and guided problem solving to help students build confidence. I encourage questions and create a calm environment where mistakes become part of learning rather than something to fear.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with chemistry through continued study, scientific reading, and interest in modern chemical research. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because I witness students transform confusion into confidence. My goal is to help learners trust their ability to understand science and succeed with pride.

Chemistry becomes much easier when students see it as a logical explanation of how matter changes rather than a subject of endless equations to memorise. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, reactions, acids and bases, thermodynamics, and organic chemistry with clarity and patience. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind chemical behaviour, so concepts feel connected instead of confusing. Each session includes structured explanations, visual models, practice questions, and real-life examples that make chemistry meaningful and approachable. My goal is to help students feel confident, curious, and capable when working with chemical ideas.
Lessons are tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners build strong foundations in the periodic table, basic reactions, chemical calculations, and laboratory understanding. Intermediate students strengthen skills in balancing equations, mole concepts, reaction mechanisms, and exam-focused problem solving. Advanced learners explore organic synthesis, equilibrium systems, electrochemistry, and deeper analytical reasoning. Every lesson includes correction support and step-by-step guidance to ensure steady improvement.
Chemistry lessons also develop critical thinking and scientific confidence. Students learn to approach problems calmly, interpret patterns, and apply reasoning rather than fear. Many begin to enjoy chemistry once clarity replaces intimidation. My mission is to help learners succeed academically while building lasting scientific understanding.
