About Lara
My journey into Chemistry began with curiosity about how molecules interact and transform. This led me to complete an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, where I developed strong theoretical understanding and analytical skills. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students through complex topics by breaking ideas into clear, manageable explanations. I approach teaching with patience and adaptability. I take time to understand each learner’s needs and adjust explanations using diagrams, analogies, and structured reasoning. I encourage questions and create a learning environment where students feel supported and confident. Outside teaching, I continue engaging with Chemistry through academic reading and ongoing study. Teaching Chemistry is rewarding because I witness learners grow from uncertainty to confidence. Supporting that transformation is the most meaningful part of my work.

Chemistry becomes easier to understand when students are shown how abstract ideas explain real chemical behavior. My lessons focus on helping learners understand atomic structure, bonding, reaction mechanisms, and energy changes through structured explanation and logical reasoning. I emphasize understanding why reactions occur rather than memorizing equations, allowing students to build confidence and curiosity. Lessons are calm, supportive, and focused on clarity.
Lessons are tailored to the learner’s academic level. Beginners focus on symbols, formulas, and simple reactions using visual aids. Intermediate learners strengthen understanding of stoichiometry, periodic trends, and reaction types. Advanced learners explore equilibrium, thermodynamics, and organic reaction pathways with structured problem-solving support. Practice questions and explanation-based feedback reinforce understanding and accuracy.
Chemistry lessons also help students develop patience, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. As learners gain clarity, they become more confident when approaching scientific challenges. Many begin to see Chemistry as logical and manageable. My goal is to help learners feel capable and confident in their scientific reasoning.
