About Alisha
My fascination with chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, equipping me with deep theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory expertise. Over 8 years of teaching, I have guided students through fundamental and advanced topics, creating lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to individual needs. I prioritize personalized teaching, adjusting explanations, examples, and exercises to match each student’s learning style. I emphasize understanding concepts rather than rote memorization, encouraging students to think critically and independently. Building confidence, curiosity, and practical problem-solving skills is central to my approach. Outside the classroom, I remain engaged with research, laboratory experimentation, and professional developments in chemistry, bringing current insights and practical applications into my teaching. Watching students transform from uncertain beginners to capable, confident learners is incredibly rewarding and motivates me to continue fostering curiosity and excellence in chemistry education.
