About Tiffany
Graduating from Johns Hopkins with a degree in biochemistry taught me how to decompose chemical bonding and reaction mechanisms into logical, atomic parts. Seeing a student finally grasp the mole concept after months of frustration remains the best part of my job. I have successfully guided 411 students through inorganic chemistry and periodic table trends over my 13 years of teaching. My practice centers on a neurodivergent-affirming approach for struggling students and younger learners.
Keeping your stress low helps the chemistry concepts stick. We focus on equation balancing and physical chemistry until the math feels second nature. It is truly satisfying to watch a student realize that these difficult subjects are actually quite approachable when taught with patience.

The first session is rarely about finishing a worksheet or memorizing a long list of properties. We start by dismantling the common fear that chemistry is too abstract to understand. I have taught 411 students how to use mock tests with error analysis to identify exactly where they get stuck.
This method works well for kids and intermediate learners because it turns mistakes into clear, actionable data. I draw on my 13 years of experience to make sure our pace matches your brain. If you need extra time on a specific mechanism, we simply stay there until it clicks.
